It may be a good idea to 'protect' the Main Page. It is often the target of vandals/spambots, and doesn't require frequent changes anyway.

You're right, I do intend to protect the Main Page in the near future. However, I'd like the Wiki to pick up a little more steam before I do that. I believe the Main Page is still in alpha version, and don't want to prevent contributors from modifying it-- yet. I'll also probably setup a Captcha system like ConfirmEdit, though I'm not too much in a hurry... The wiki doesn't have any external links to it yet, apart from the List archives and somehow from its wikipedia page :) --Jlargentaye 00:48, 19 April 2006 (PDT)

Finite Element analysis

Hi;

I would like to know if you could do Finite Element Analysis in ODE? I have a physics friend who needs some software for that. Even if it was 10x slower than custom FEA code, that would be okay for him as he is doing small-scale work and I'd rather he use a popular engine than a fast engine.
